A unique place to stay Platypus Hollow offers private, self-contained accommodation in your choice of two suites. Each suite is part of the homestead yet offers complete privacy and independence for guests. The Platypus Suite. The Platypus suite is your home away from home, complete with your own spacious sitting room with dining area. Guests enjoy private bathroom facilities and a fully equipped kitchen. It contains one queen size bed and up to three single beds making it an ideal base for a weekend getaway or longer stay. A minimum 2 night stay applies to the Platypus Suite*.
The Possum Suite. Formerly the maid's quarters, the Possum suite is a smaller suite providing double bedroom, private bathroom facilities and separate sitting room with kitchenette (microwave, bar fridge), making it the ideal place for a short stopover or quiet weekend getaway*. Facilities. Each suite is very comfortably appointed and has its own private entrance allowing guests to come and go as they please. All linen is provided and beds have electric blankets and fluffy doonas. A generous hamper style breakfast is provided in the room on arrival allowing breakfast at guest's leisure. Both suites have reverse cycle air conditioning, quality linen and toiletries, CD & DVD players (with library available) and are serviced daily. Each suite also has a private verandah area overlooking the garden with outdoor furniture to relax and enjoy an alfresco breakfast. There is also a BBQ available for guest use. A porta-cot is available on request. * Please note that smoking is not permitted in the suites. * We regret that we are unable to accept pets.
